Diane White

Sherry Diane White, age 76, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on January 29, 2026. She was of Baptist faith. Diane graduated from Fulton High School in 1967 and then went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Tusculum college.

Diane is preceded in death by her father, Hurdle Roach.

She is survived by her husband, Jack White; son, Brad White (Erica); daughter, Sherry Kitts (Scott); daughter, Jennifer Vaught (Brayan); grandchildren, Jessica Kitts Lane, Jamie Kitts, Jack White, Jackson Vaught, Ella Johnson (Ben), and Julia Vaught; great-grandchild, Shyla Lane; mother, Pauline Roach; and brother, Doyle Roach (Joanne).

Diane was a beautiful, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She deeply loved her family and proudly bragged about her grandchildren to everyone around her. She and her husband, Jack, were perfectly described by the song "Jack and Diane." She will be truly missed by many, and the family gives a special thank you to all who prayed for her.

The family will receive friends from 4:00pm-6:00pm on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Rose Funeral and Cremation – Broadway. A service will follow at 6:00pm with Rev. Scott Jackson officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 12:00pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, for a procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery where a 1:00pm graveside service will take place.
