Dicksie Ann Keck

On January 31st, heaven gained a beloved mother, nurturing grandmother, and loving wife. Dicksie Keck (60) was reunited with her father, Reynold Brauer, her mother, Bonnie Brauer Pardee, and her grandson Lathon Lipton.
Dicksie was born on November 16, 1964. Although Dicksie has lived a life all over the US, she called Wichita Falls, Tx home. DIcksie met the love of her life, Mark Keck in 2003 and they became one in 2007. Dicksie was stubborn and Mark was the only man who seemed to tolerate her hardheaded ways. Mark made sure Dicksie was a happy woman and allowed her grown children to finally see what true love was about. Dicksie cherished her husband and the love he had for her.
Dicksie was a loving mother to her 3 children as well as her daughter in law: Joshua Lipton (Josephine Lipton), Jason Lipton, and Jamie Alcantar. Dicksie clearly loved being a grandmother more than any other title she has held and often had her children question "what changed and why do these kids get away with everything?!"
Dicksie leaves behind her grandchildren Gabrielle Aranda, Jeremiah Lipton, Janessa Lipton, Savannah Strachan, MaryAnn Lipton, Madeline Bizzell, and Reynea Noah, and great grandson Elias Aranda who will cherish the memories made with grandma; from baking birthday cakes to summer night bonfires. Dicksie was also expecting her first great granddaughter, Camilla Aranda, who will know her great grandma through stories and pictures.
From a young age, Dicksie lived a challenging life but her perseverance and tenacious spirit kept her successful in everything she set her mind to. Dicksie was a woman of many talents.
She had a passion for cooking and baking. Her children were most proud of her awarding winning pineapple upside down cake and told everyone that their mother was the best baker! She loved to feed her family. And what started as a joke became the expectation with Joshs Jethro Bodine bowl, which never seemed to be empty. More than cooking, A few of Dicksies favorite things in life are a roaring fireplace, casinos and her pets.
Dicksie was an introvert and to be let into her circle meant you were family. Nina Keether and Debbie Walters-Hamlin were considered family to Dicksie. From lunch dates to late night phone calls, she cherished these women and the sisterhood they provided.
