Dixie was born in Black Oak, Indiana on September 16, 1940 to the late Gilbert and Pauline Lee. Dixie enjoyed reading, listening to Jimmy Swaggart and a fun shopping trip.
Surviving Dixie are daughters, Jackie Schneider(Bob) and KayC Wright; sons Jeff Phipps and Jimmy Phipps(Brittney); grandchildren, Bryan Wright(Leanna), Jenna Poteet(Jarrod), Ellie Phipps and Jackson Phipps; Great Grandchildren , Charlotte and Harvey Poteet.
Dixie was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Irby.
Placement for Dixie will be at Sunset Funeral Home, date will be set by family.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, at 610 E. Walnut Street, Evansville, Indiana, 47713.
