Dixie Clevenger Simmons, 89, of Glen Dale, WV; passed away at home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
She was born April 12, 1936; the daughter of the late Susan Rodriguez Crowe.
Dixie was an avid shopper, enjoyed traveling and seeing Broadway shows in New York City. She was a member of Glen Dale United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd Clevenger and Roy Crowe.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Simmons; four daughters, Susan (Dr. Garry) Lewis of Glen Dale, Carol (John) Schaefer of Mt Pleasant, SC, Lisa Roberts of San Francisco, CA and Janette (Scott) Clements of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren, Nicole, Kara, Whitney, Lyndsey, Christian, Carson, Caen, Caroline, and Carter; seven great-grandchildren, Brayden, Arden, Brooks, Ryan, Luke, Eulalyia and Colin.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzhiemer's Association, WV Chapter, at 1601 2nd Ave, Charleston, WV 25387.
