Dolores L. Darios

Dolores L. Darios, age 89, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Bob and the devoted mother of Susan (Ray) Sowders, Alan (Dawn) Carion, Janeen (Tim) Boyke, and the late Michael Carion and David Carion. Cherished grandmother of Jacklyn, Jessica (Aaron), Jennifer, Jason, and Emily; proud great-grandmother of Gabrielle, Penelope, and Pierson; and adoring great-great-grandmother of Chloe.

Dolores dedicated 26 years of her professional life to General Dynamics, where she served as Director of Business Ethics before her retirement. Her integrity and leadership earned her the respect of all who worked alongside her.

A woman of many talents and boundless energy, Dolores found joy in staying active and creative. Whether she was sewing, painting or restoring furniture, she was always immersed in a new project. An avid golfer, she celebrated the rare accomplishment of a hole-in-one at Metro Beach. She also shared her gift for communication as a honorary speaker engagements with the Toastmasters Club. Dolores loved to travel-by land or sea-and embraced every opportunity to see the world.

Above all, family was the heart of Dolores' life. She was a steady and loving presence, always there when needed, offering guidance, laughter, and unwavering support.

Visitation for Dolores will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday, October 10 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 Fifteen Mile Road, Sterling Heights. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.

Dolores will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, grace, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
