Dolores is survived by her loving daughters, Marcia (Malcolm) Brooks of Plainfield, Paula (Joe) Dillon of Elmhurst, Laura (Dan) Pleskovich of Yorkville; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Derek and Ryan (Monique) Brooks, Michael (Amy) and Joey (Katie) Dillon, and Jacob Pleskovich and great-grandchildren, Kale, Mia, Beau, Tyler, Carter, Olivia, and Molly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Filas; her parents, Joseph and Ann Pyszka; her sister, Charlene (the late William) Ellerbrock and brothers, Joseph (the late Rosie) Pyszka and Ronald (the late Ruby) Pyszka.
Dolores was born and raised in Peru, IL. She married Raymond on October 21, 1950 in Peru. She worked for several years at Rockford Life Insurance in Peru, and retired from Solar Press in Naperville, IL. Dolores enjoyed many trips to the Ozarks relaxing on the dock fishing. She treasured spending time with her family and friends and will be truly missed.
Private family services will be held with entombment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Joliet.
Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield, was entrusted with arrangements.
