Dolores Mary Kennelly

Dolores M. Kennelly passed away suddenly and peacefully with her family by her side. She left this world on January 31, 2025, while in the compassionate care of Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ. Born on April 1, 1955, in Camden, NJ, Dolores's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and joy that touched everyone she knew.
Dolores's early years in Pennsauken laid a foundation of resilience and strength that would characterize her entire life. Those who knew her were blessed by her kindness and her unwavering commitment to her loved ones. Her radiant smile and infectious laughter became a beacon of happiness that illuminated the lives of many.
In her journey through life, Dolores found a loving partner in Joseph Kennelly, with whom she built a life filled with shared dreams and enduring love. Though predeceased by Joseph, the legacy of their union continued to thrive through their devoted children, Bernice O'Sullivan (Michael) and Joseph Kennelly (Jessica). Dolores was a pillar of strength and inspiration to her sisters, Lynn Ford, Donna Mayer, and Bernice Pinto (Jim), with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, William Maldonado.
Dolores's role as a grandmother was one of the parts she cherished most, bestowing love and wisdom upon her grandchildren Brielle, Emma, Monica, Hannah, and Wyatt. Her guidance and affection helped to shape their lives, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts and memories. Dolores adored spending time with friends and family. She also found joy in coaching softball and taking leisurely walks on the boardwalk at the Jersey Beaches. Dolores was a woman who crafted a legacy of resilience, generosity and kindness that will continue to resonate for generations to come
Relatives and friends are invited to gather and honor the memory of Dolores at her viewing on February 6, 2025, from 12 noon to 2 PM. A service celebrating her life will follow at 2 PM at The Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, located at 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. It will be a time to reflect on the beauty of her life and the depth of her impact on all who knew her.
