Dolores McClure Obituary

Dolores L. McClure beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Born as the second of four daughters to Chester Moleski and Stella (Jankowski) Moleski on November 16, 1935, in Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. Dolores grew up surrounded by the love of her close-knit family. A devout Catholic throughout her life, her faith was a guiding light that shaped her character, her compassion, and the way she lived each day. She was a long-standing member of Saint Patrick’s church in Carlisle.

She was a proud Air Force wife to James (Ed) McClure (who has preceded her in death), standing faithfully beside her husband through many moves, adventures, and challenges. Their long and loving marriage was a testament to partnership, strength, and unwavering commitment.

Together, they raised three daughters, Rebecca A. Fry (and husband Gary), Monica L. Lentvorsky (and husband Ed) and Carolyn E. Nauman (and husband Devoe). She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren, and her legacy continues through her many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

A woman of many talents and passions, Dolores had a deep love for traveling and embraced opportunities to explore the world. She enjoyed crafting and sewing, often creating beautiful pieces that reflected her care and creativity. Known for her warm hospitality, she delighted in hosting gatherings where laughter and memories were always in abundance.

Dolores will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and her unwavering faith and love for her family. Her presence was a gift to all who knew her, and her absence will be deeply felt.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family and all who were blessed to know her.

Though her absence leaves a deep void, we find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her beloved husband and daughter, held in the eternal peace she so faithfully believed in.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, with Father Chiedozie Ononuju officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00am until the time of the service. Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
