Dominick was born on March 2, 1987, in Anderson, SC to Tarry Dennesse Mattress and Dr. Russell Herman Campbell jr. From a young age he showed courage, curiosity, strength, and determination. Dominick was a very smart individual and could figure out things at a very young age that most adults could not figure out.
Dominick graduated from TL Hanna High School class of 2005. Dominick was a member of the TL Hanna Marching Band in which he played the trumpet. He went on to attend Clemson University studying Electrical Engineering.
Dominick went on to have a career in Information Technology and took on several different positions as he continued to gain more knowledge in his career. He was currently employed by Palmetto Technology Group in Greenville, SC.
Dominick had a passion an undeniable love for music. He could play the piano like no other and he learned to play by ear. He would often spend hours on the piano. Dominick was a recording/mixing engineer producer and made beats for local artists. Music was his solitude.
Dominick loved to spend time with his family, especially during the holidays he enjoyed everybody coming together with laughter and good food.
Dominick was loved by his family and shared a bond with his family that could never be broken.
Dominick leaves behind his mother Tarry Mattress. Father, Dr. Russell Herman Campbell Jr.; Rhonda Campell (spouse) a loving son, Christian Conner Campbell of Greenville. Brother, Tyreece Mattress of Anderson. Sister, Kalesha Batiste and nephew, Cooper Batiste of Huntsville, Alabama. Aunt, Teasher Mattress of Simpsonvile, Aretha Campbell of Columbia. Uncle, Perry Cambell of Anderson. Grandparents, Andrew (Ted) and Lee Margaret Mattress of Anderson. Alene Campbell of Columbia. Cousins Corey, Faith, Courtney, Kenya, Kamron, and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Russell Herman Campbell Sr, To our beloved son, father, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend.
Thank you for the 38 years of love, laughs, and the memories. You will forever remain in our hearts. May you rest in eternal peace.
