Mr. Dominque Meader, 38, of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Mr. Dominique Clarence Meader-Jackson was born on May 18,1987, to Sharon Thomas with his chosen father, Calvin.
He received his education in the Gadsden City School System attending G.W. Floyd Elementary School, General Forrest Middle School, and Emma Sansom High School.
Dominique had many hobbies including watching football, basketball, coaching, cooking and he loved to be around his family.
He was preceded in death by: his brother, Danta Lavelle Jackson; his uncles, Billy and Vernard Jackson.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mom, Sharon (Wes) Thomas and chosen Father Calvin Anderson; son, Amanie Rutledge-Jackson; his grandmother, Marilyn Jones; his grandfather, Hardie Jones; siblings, Demetrius (Lean) Jackson, Rick Meaders, Ashley Anderson, Mary Meaders; nieces, Makiya, Makayla, Jordon, Laundyn & La'Veah Jackson; Jaikiyah Anderson; nephews, Dakota, Jalen, and Darien Jr.; aunts, Sheila Meaders, Angel (Shane) Abernathy, Pat Jones Sherry Williams, Cynthia Kinney, Alberta Kinney and Maggie Wills; uncles, Jerome Jackson and Lavon Jackson; special friends, Marcus Davis, Shawn Montgomery, Daheem Rice Drondae Malone, T-Mac Chandler, Hawk & Desmond Peterson, Josh Williams, Jay Thomas & the whole Riley Street Family. We ask that you keep this family in your hearts and prayers during their time of bereavement.
Family hour will be from 5pm-7pm on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Funeral services will be at 2pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at New Canaan Baptist Church. Eulogist: Pastor Edward Jones.
