Mario Archuleta our beloved father, brother, uncle and son was born and raised in Alcalde New Mexico and left this world unexpectedly on April 10, 2024, at the age of 46.
Mario was preceded in death by his mother Edith Elaine Salazar; grandparents Horacio and Theresa Archuleta, Quirino Salazar, and Augustina Martinez.
Mario is survived by his daughters Makayla and Madaysha Archuleta and their mother, Marie Jaramillo; his father Jose Lee Archuleta and companion Donna;
his brother Michael Shawn Salazar and wife Michelle; his sister Shanie Lee Lucero and husband Charlie, his sister Shawna Lee Chavez and husband Patricio.
His sisters Adele Lee Archuleta and Devon Lee Archuleta, his brother Mikey Espinoza; his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A special thank you to Johhny DeVargas, his Godfather and the DeVargas Funeral Home staff.
Mario loved his daughters Makayla and Madaysha they are the center of his life! They meant the world to him. His love for them is limitless and endless and his legacy will live through them always and forever.
Mario will be remembered for his wit and humor. Mario left a lasting impression on those who knew him. Mario was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was always quick to aid those who were in need.
Mario was a kind and loving man with many amazing talents. He loved drawing, camping, fishing, skateboarding and most of all spending quality time with family and friends. His love for the Pittsburg Steelers was unmeasurable. Mario's warm smile and kind heart were contagious, he was always the life of the party.
Although Mario is at peace and rest, his spirt lives on within each of us and will never be forgotten. The family of Don Mario Archuleta would like to thank everyone for their prayers, assistance, and collaboration during our family’s difficult time.
Funeral Services will be held in San Juan Parish Catholic Church on Friday, May 3, 2024:
11:00 am - Rosary
12:00 pm - Mass
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held in the San Antonio Cemetery in Alcalde New Mexico following the mass.
Serving the family as Pall Bearers: Patrick Chavez 2nd, Steven Chavez, Brandon Gallegos, Carlos Salazar 2nd, Chuck Gutirez and Justin Espinoza.
Serving the family as Honorary Pall Bearers: Lorrenzo Bustos, Jacob Romero and Michelle Milkey.
