It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donnie Toivola, age 43, on November 18, 2024. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Donnie leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to his family and friends.
Donnie is survived by his loving wife Cendy and their four cherished children: Michael, Alex, Nicholas, and Westin. He was a dedicated family man, who spent his life creating treasured memories with his children and wife. His passion for the outdoors was unmatched-whether hiking, camping, fishing, or riding his Jeep on off-road trails, Donnie thrived in nature. His love for hunting, too, brought him a sense of peace and connection to the world around him.
Donnie was son to Laura Berardi, stepson to Nick Berardi, Brother to Oli Berardi and was a proud grandson to Sylvia Williamson. He attended Buckeye High School, where he formed a lifelong friendship with his best friend, Adam Cooke. Donnie's work family at Colling Media was a significant part of his life, particularly their respected leader Brian Colling and colleague Daniel Chen, who he considered true friends. As well as his many other appreciated colleagues.
Known for his caring and gentle nature, Donnie was a true gentleman, always putting others first with a kind and generous heart. He touched the lives of everyone around him with his warmth, compassion, and unwavering support.
Donnie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him-his family, friends, and colleagues-who will forever remember his bright smile, infectious laughter, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
A celebration of Donnie's life will be held on December 7th, 2024.
Rest in peace, Donnie. You will forever be in our hearts.
