Don Vellucci Obituary

Don A. Vellucci, 79 years old, of Mishawaka passed away the afternoon of Saturday, December 16, 2023. Don was born on September 2, 1944, in Mishawaka to the late Albert and Irene (Horvath) Vellucci. Don was united in marriage to Carol Claeys on September 11, 1965, who passed away on December 21, 2021. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Jim Vellucci and Rose Rydzinski.
Don is survived by two children, Shaun (Melanie) Vellucci and Amanda Vellucci; three grandchildren, Mikaela (Hunter) Vellucci, Nicholas Vellucci, and Michael Vellucci; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Frank Vellucci.
Don was a Marine and a lifetime member of the VFW #360. Before his retirement, he worked as a maintenance supervisor at AM General. Don was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 5 pm-7 pm at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th St, Mishawaka, IN 46544. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, 10 am at Hahn Funeral Home. Don will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park beside his wife Carol.
