Donald A. Arveson, 80, passed away on September 17, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 8, 1945, to Alfred and Rosella (Booher) Arveson. Donald graduated from Suring High School in 1963, and from there he attended UW Oshkosh, where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business. After college, Donald joined the Airforce and served 3 years before he was honorably discharged so he could take care of his father. Donald married the love of his life, Ruthie Johnson, at Suring United Methodist Church on October 27, 1973. They shared 52 wonderful years together and had 3 children.
Donald enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and golfing. If he wasn't spending his time outdoors, he loved to go bowling and play on a pool league. Donald also found joy in spending time with his grandchildren.
Donald is survived by his wife, Ruthie Arveson; his 3 children, Brenda (Rick) Muthig, Ryan Arveson, and Tristan (Timothy) Buchert; his grandchildren, Dalton, Taylor, DonEvan, Jerid, Nathan, and Madelynn; his surrogate daughter, Ammie Anderson; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Rosella Arveson.
