MIDDLESEX – Donald Junior Barham, 71, went to his heavenly home Saturday morning, August 27, 2022. He was born December 8, 1950, in Wake County to the late Wiley Robert and Lottie K. Barham. Donald honorably and faithfully served our country as a Specialist in the United States Army. Following his time in the service, he worked as Tree Trimmer II for the City of Raleigh. In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his siblings, Nanny Mosely, Mavis Mosley, Edna Tant and Peanut Barham.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Creekmore Barham; sons, Michael Barham (Johanna) of Oklahoma City, OK and Donald Robert Barham (Lindsey) of Middlesex, NC; daughter, Angela Denise Barham of Hillsborough, NC; grandchildren, Cielo Barham, Michael Barham, Joshua Barham, Kaden Barham, Kaylin Barham, Robert Barham and Carter Barham; great grandchildren, Crown Barham and Ryver Barham; sisters, Bonnie Bunn, Betty Richardson, Lucy Tant and Judy Richardson.
Flowers are welcomed or a memorial contribution may be made to a charity of choice.
Visitation will take place Thursday, 6:00pm – 7:30pm at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC 27591.
Funeral Service will take place Friday, 2:00pm at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel. Interment to follow at Rocky Cross Baptist Church Cemetery, 13452 Burgess Rd., Middlesex, NC 27557.
Arrangements are entrusted to Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, 211 W. Third St., Wendell, NC 27591.
