Donald Behring Obituary

He was born July 15, 1954 in Shelbina, Missouri the son of Walter Emery and Helen Martine (Sparks) Behring.
Buckshot was a graduate of Monroe City High School, Monroe City, Missouri. He was a member of the Prairie View Baptist Church, Shelby County, Missouri. He previously worked for Smith Brothers Construction, Diemakers Inc. and most recently Continental Casting. Buckshot was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed being in the outdoors whenever he could. He also enjoyed gardening throughout the spring and summer months. Most of all he enjoyed being around his grandchildren, children, brothers, sisters and friends.
He is survived by three daughters Lacey Timbrook (Shane), Lindsey Kendrick (Kale) and Kaylee Behring. Four brothers John Behring (Lynda), Roller Behring, Gale Behring (Richelle) and Gene Behring (Guyla). Two sisters Mary Lou Smith (David) and Laura Behring Wilson (Marion). Four grandchildren Kadon and Kinley Timbrook, Wyatt and Wesleigh Kendrick. Also survived by one aunt Madelyn White and two brother in laws Larry Smith, Adam Thompson, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Connie Smith and Jan Thompson and one nephew Kelly Behring.
There will be a Celebration of Life held for Buckshot at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Monroe City, Friday, January 5, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Dinner will be served from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. Honorary pallbearers will be Guy White, Charlie Lochman, Mark Buckman, Doug Wilson, Jackie Bush, Heather McChristian, John Behring, Roller Behring, Gale Behring and Gene Behring. Memorials have been suggested to the Donald Behring grandchildren's Education Fund. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Garner Funeral Home & Chapel, Monroe City, Missouri.
