Donald Biggs Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rossell Funeral Home - Flushing on Dec. 22, 2025.
Biggs, Donald Lee, of Flushing, age 75, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 19, 2025. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time.
Don was born in Flint, Michigan, on December 28, 1949, the son of Lloyd and Gertrude (Joines) Biggs. He married the love of his life, Linda (Sharkey) Biggs on April 23, 1988, and together they shared 37 years of love, laughter, and companionship.
Don was a kind and patient man with a unique sense of humor. He enjoyed keeping people guessing and took particular delight in telling stories that left listeners wondering whether they were truth or fiction-his grin often being the only clue. Don's quiet wit and playful storytelling made him a joy to be around.
After graduating from Ferris State University with a degree in chemistry, Don dedicated 32 years of service to the State of Michigan before retiring. He took pride in his work and valued the friendships he made along the way.
Don also expressed his love through cooking. He was a great cook and was especially well known among family and friends for his baked beans and BBQ ribs, dishes that became staples at gatherings and created lasting memories.
Don will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Linda; daughter Elizabeth (Joe Franta) Biggs; grandson Jaxson; sister Dorothy (Jeff) Butler; and by all who had the privilege of knowing him including many nephews, nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
His kindness, humor, and gentle presence will be remembered always.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations in Don's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
