Mike Fox, 68, of Salisbury, Missouri, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Mike was born September 13, 1956 in Marceline, MO the son of Donald Ray and Helen (Ostermann) Fox. He married Clara Sugar Fox on October 13, 1979 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Salisbury, MO.
Mike was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 1974. He worked for Ray Widmer at the concrete plant, John Deere for 15 years and 30 years as driver and mechanic for Salisbury Ag Center. Mike hauled grain and cattle for many years. He had a passion for fixing and restoring tractors and motors. He could listen over the phone and tell you what was wrong with it. Mike enjoyed attending tractor shows and Old Thrasher Reunions. He loved his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his wife Sugar of the home, his mother Helen of Brunswick, MO, sons Scott (Hayley) Fox of Boonville, Darrin (Megan) Fox of Keytesville, MO, Sheldon (Angela) Fox of Tipton, MO, brothers Bob Fox of Brunswick, Jim Fox of Ozark, MO, Larry (Joyce) Fox of Brunswick, MO, Rick (Janeen) Fox of Brunswick, MO, Kenny (Karen) Fox of Brunswick, MO, grandchildren Cale, Kinley, Hudson, Veronica, Cliff, Brenton, Jasper, Wylee, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Randy Fox.
Visitation is 4-7:00 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2025 at the Summerville Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Summerville Funeral Home with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Foundation or the Missouri River Valley Steam Engine Association.
