Donald "Don" William Marshall, age 57, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025 at OSU Medical Center after a battle with cancer. He was born the son of Loyd Lewis and Irene (Ragalyi) Marshall on October 27, 1968 in Warren, Ohio. Don earned an associate's degree from ITT Technical Institute and worked hard as a diagnostic tester for Siemens. Don was a man who never met a stranger and always made those around him feel like family. He loved spending time with his neighbors, who fondly became known as his "local family." Whether it was sharing stories on the porch, helping with a project, or just enjoying a laugh together, Don cherished those moments of friendship and community. He had a "good time" attitude that brought joy to everyone he met. Don loved working on cars and could often be found under the hood, tinkering and fixing things just for the satisfaction of it. Above all, he adored his grandkids and lit up whenever they were around. His laughter, kindness, and easygoing spirit will be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Cody (Toni) Marshall of Lynchburg; precious grandchildren, Carter and Sydney Marshall and Emma, Logan, and Mia Lesho; step-son, Adam (Lena) Lesho of Tennessee; and siblings, Michael "Mike" Marshall, Patty Hecker, and Karen Forsha all of Gustavus, Ohio. Don was preceded in death by a nephew, Joshua Marshall; uncle, Bill Wear; maternal grandparents, Steve and Mrytle Ragalyi; and paternal grandparents, Robert and Wilda Marshall. In keeping with his wishes, Don will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
