Donald Lee Meade Jr., a.k.a. Sunny D, 50, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Eskanzi Health Hospital. Donald was born on November 26, 1972 to Donald Lee Meade Sr. “Sunny,” and Patricia (Pfisterer) Meade “Phil.”
Don went to Arsenal Tech High School. He later met Lois Marie Meade, and together they had four children. Donald enjoyed hanging out with his family. He especially LOVED playing his guitars, spending time with his grandchildren and doing anything outdoors.
Don leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Patricia; three sons, Travis (Tabitha) Meade, Jacob Meade, and Brandon (Savannah) Meade; one daughter, Taylor (Alan) Meade; one brother, Ronald Meade; two sisters, Priscilla Meadimber and Dawn (Howard) Griffith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who all loved and cherished him dearly.
He was preceded by his father, Donald Lee Meade Sr. who passed away on April 27, 2006.
A visitation will be held on January 30, 2023 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm, immediately followed by a celebration of Don’s life at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250.
