Donald Moen Obituary
Don was a proud Army veteran from October 1964 to October 1970. He was born on June 25, 1942, in Dodgeville, the son of Ernest and Amy (Eaton) Moen. Don attended Barneveld high school. He was united in marriage to Wanda Meckley on March 23, 1973.
Don will be fondly remembered as a very caring person who loved spending time playing cards, tinkering with cars, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends.
Don is survived by his wife, Wanda; children Anthony Wilson, Angela Moen, Melissa Moen (Brian Rikli) and Donald (Donny) Moen Jr., his 8 sisters, Eileen Arndt, Elayne Martin, Mary Ann (Ken) Vodak, Betty (Jerry) Colquhoun, Phyllis Grant, Anita (Arthur) Grana, Janice (Tom) Jacobs and Lori (Don) Scheidegger; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Amy.
A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. Military Chapel Side Rites will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, accorded by the Dodgeville Area Veterans.
A luncheon will follow at Ope Haus in Barneveld, starting at 1:30 p.m.
