Donald Foster Moore, Jr. Jr.

Donald "Don" Foster Moore Jr., age 79, of Arabi, passed away on July 10, 2025. Don was the son of late Donald Foster Moore Sr. and Sallie McDaniel Moore. Don had a wonderful appreciation for the outdoors as evidenced in his love for horses and horseback riding, and his sheer enjoyment of fishing. Even though these were loves and passions, his greatest love was for his family and his precious granddaughter, Syndee, and the time spent with them. Playing with his granddaughter was a cherished pleasure, and her memories of the times spent with her grandfather will always be a treasure. Don loved the Lord and was of the Baptist Faith. Don is survived by two daughters, Sherry Patterson, of Arabi, GA, and Pam Calhoun, and her husband Steve, of Pineview; his granddaughter, Sydnee Patterson, one sister, Darlene Moore, of Arabi; a nephew, Brandon Passmore, and his wife, Whitney, of St. Marys, GA, and two great-nephews, Colton Passmore, and Weston Passmore. A memorial service honoring Don will take place in the Chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 11:00 am. The family will visit with guests prior to the service at the Rainey Chapel beginning at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The family will also be hosting a visitation on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, at 484 Ditch Road, Arabi, GA, 31712.
