Donald T. Mozer

Donald T. Mozer, PhD., 84, died peacefully on April 11, 2025 at his home.
Donald was born on September 11, 1940 to William Mozer and Mildred Ludwig Mozer in Trenton, NJ. He attended Admiral Farragut Academy for high school. In 1962, Donald graduated from Villanova University with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He began his career working for DeLaval Steam Turbine in Trenton, NJ.
In 1964, a friend persuaded Donald to come to work for IBM. Donald spent 27 years at IBM. He received an Outstanding Contribution Award in 1967. In 1969, he was one of six employees worldwide to receive a Residence Study Scholarship to pursue his Masters and PhD degrees. This program gave him full salary and tuition for three years. Donald had numerous patents at IBM. After over 27 years with IBM, Donald retired in 1990.
Donald then went into building and restoring homes with his wife. Donald's journey through most of his life was shared with his wife, Patricia Pasquale, whom he met at Villanova and married in 1963. Together, they shared 61 years of wonderful moments.
Donald is survived by his wife, Patricia; his daughter Dawn, his grandson Michael; his sister-in-law Marlene, and his nieces and nephew. He was predeceased by his son Donald and his brother Bill.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 12pm at the Nine Partners Cemetery in Millbrook.
