MAMOU - Donald "Don" Joseph Perron was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He left this world after a brief illness on December 17, 2023 at the age of 64.
Don volunteered to serve in the U.S. Navy during the Cold War. He was a submariner on the USS Flasher in San Diego where he made many lifelong brothers in service and friends.
After his service he moved back home to Louisiana where he met the love of his life, Amy Deloach Perron.
Don went on to have a successful and rewarding career in real estate, where he became a beloved member of the community. He found great joy in his love of Jeeps, horses, and singing the Barney song to his daughter.
He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Perron.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; his daughter, Breana; his mother, Shirley Pitre Perron; his sister, Naomi Ruegge and her husband, Phillip along with many nieces and nephews.
