Don is survived by his wife Janice (Holmquist), daughters Lynda Ringstmeyer (Paul) Fossing, Megan Wagner (Obed Floan), stepson Matthew Wagner, and grandson Michael. Don was in the Airforce, was a Korean War veteran, and had the need for speed and was a stockcar and speedboat racer with some trophies to boot. He loved playing golf, fishing with his buddies, watching sports – specifically the Twins and the Green Bay Packers, road trips with Jan, and spending time with his family. Don was courageous, strong, a fighter with his illnesses, and always had a positive outlook. Many people have said that he's the strongest man they've ever known. He will forever be missed.
