Donald Charles Weber

Funeral service for Donald Charles Weber, age 92, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at St. John Nottingham Lutheran Church, 17403 Nottingham Road, Cleveland. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Donald was born on June 6, 1933, in Cleveland to Ralph C. and Leonarda (nee Koik) Weber (both deceased) and passed away on October 8, 2025.
Donald was a proud Korean War veteran, who served in the U.S. Marines from 1950 until 1953 and was awarded two Purple Hearts for his bravery and sacrifice. A dedicated U.S. Postal Service employee for many years, he earned the respect of colleagues and neighbors alike. In earlier years, he found joy in the outdoors-hunting, fishing, and practicing the art of taxidermy with skill and care. Later in life, his hands turned to gentler pursuits: tending his garden, crafting in his woodshop, and sketching alongside his grandchildren, whose creativity he nurtured with quiet pride. A longtime member of St. John Nottingham Lutheran Church, he lived his faith with humility and heart. His legacy lives on in the beauty he created the stories he shared, and the love he gave freely.
Donald is the beloved husband of 51 years to the late Lillian Weber (nee Bahr); loving father of Mark (Sherry) Weber and Laura (Reverend Tim) Ewell; cherished grandfather of Nathan, Alyssa, and Jonathan; proud brother of Grace Kriha (deceased) and Herbert Weber (deceased); dear friend and longtime companion of Joanne Janisko; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
