Donalee "Donna Green" Baumgardner

Donalee Baumgardner, 79, of Cambridge, MA, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, surrounded by the unwavering love of her family.

Born on February 17, 1946, in Cambridge, MA, Donalee was a loving daughter of the late Alexander Green of Somerville, MA, and the late Dorothy V. Simon of Cambridge, MA. She was the cherished wife of the late Francis "Buddy" Baumgardner of Cambridge, MA, with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage.

Donalee was a devoted mother to Sandra Brigham and her partner, Linda Blundell, of Stoneham, MA; her beloved son, Brian Baumgardner, and his wife, Mandy, of Manchester, NH; the late Lisa Brigham Goncalves and her husband, Armindo Goncalves, of Revere, MA; and the late Cynthia May Hynes of Medford, MA.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sister, Kimberlee Costanza of Chelsea, MA; her brother-in-law, Paul Costanza of Cambridge, MA; and was predeceased by her brother, Richard L. Green.

She was a proud and loving Nana to Kristina Hynes and her fiancée, Katrina; Nicolas Hynes and his wife, Savanah, of North Andover; and Kayla, Brian "B," and Bradyn Baumgardner of Manchester, NH. She was also the adored great-grandmother of Landon and Rowan Hynes. Donalee was a beloved Auntie to John A., Richard L., and Steven J. Green, and to Sarah A. and Shawn P. Costanza.

Donalee is also survived by extended family members and dear friends who will carry her memory and spirit forward.

Above all else, her family was the source of her deepest happiness. Her children and grandchildren were her world-her greatest legacy and the truest expression of her love. Her devotion to them was boundless, and she leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories, gentle wisdom, and unconditional love.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 16, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Keefe Funeral Home, Arlington, MA.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 17, at 11:00 AM at Keefe Funeral Home.
