Donella M. DeCourcey

Donella DeCourcey, 73, of Randolph and North Falmouth, passed away on March 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Donella was predeceased by her beloved husband of 45 years, James J. DeCourcey III.
Donella is survived by her loving children, her daughter, Kimberly (DeCourcey) Zajac of Mansfield and her son James J. DeCourcey IV of Scituate as well as their spouses, Matthew Zajac and Jody (Magilson) DeCourcey. She is also survived by her endeared companion, James Hungerford.
As anyone who knew Donella would know, she was the very proud Nonny of her five grandchildren, Caitlyn Zajac, James J. (Quinn) DeCourcey V, Amy Zajac, Greyson DeCourcey and Reagan DeCourcey who were the light of her life and her favorite subject of conversation.
Donella's love for her family and their love for her will live on forever. Donella was the daughter of the late Rose M. (Nompleggi) Oser and the late Irving J. Oser Jr. Donella is survived by her sister Deborah and husband Thomas Cremin, her brother Michael and wife Donna Oser, her brother Mark as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
Donella's primary devotion was to lovingly raise and care for her family. Above that she held many professional roles ranging from her early years as a laboratory technologist to dental treatment coordinator in her later years. Donella was the epitome of elegance and grace. Her presence and beautiful smile filled every room she entered. Her passion for life, family, and friends knew no bounds. She lived each day to its fullest traveling the world both near and far, sharing the adventure with those whom she loved.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th from 4-7 PM at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 21st at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 481 Quaker Road, North Falmouth.
