Doniel Anthony Sackey, 40, of Manchester, passed away on June 7, 2022. He is the loving son of Carolyn (Sackey) Scott and the late Gregory Scott.
He was born on February 17, 1982 in Bronx, New York, eventually moving to Manchester with his family. Doniel was a bright light in everyone’s life. He loved a night out to dance at the club and was always listening to music. He enjoyed cooking for his family and the game of basketball. His sense of humor and fun personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Doniel is survived by his mother, Carolyn Scott, two children; Ashlyn Brooks and Anthony J. Lachance, siblings; Raheen Dukes, Kareem Sackey and his wife Sha’tell, Alicia Hilliard, and Gregory Scott II all of Manchester, aunts; Jacklyn, Evelyn, Irene, Cecilia, and Sandra, uncle Ecdro, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is welcomed into Heaven by his father Gregory Scott, grandmother Ina Sackey, grandfather Denis Sackey, and aunts, Gilda and Debra.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11th from 4-5pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A Memorial Service will follow at 5pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
