Donna Brown Obituary

Donna W. Brown, 83, of Rutland, left this world on Oct. 24, 2025. Born in Bennington, she was the youngest of 16 children of Eber and Edna (Labshere) White. She graduated from Arlington Memorial High School and earned an associate degree from St. Joseph Business School.

Donna enjoyed a long and dedicated career as an executive assistant, retiring from Kinney Pike Insurance. A former president of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 31, she was devoted to supporting veterans and making sure every fundraiser ran on time and had good snacks. A proud lifetime member of the United States Bowling Congress,

she also loved gardening, traveling, and cheering (and sometimes grumbling) for the Red Sox and Bruins.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Brown; daughter, Karen Gee; and son-in-law, Timothy Warburton. Calling hours will be held at Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland on Nov. 14 at 2 p.m., with a service at 3 p.m.

Heaven is surely brighter-and louder-now that all the Whites are together again.

Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home
