Donna Raeanne Byer

Donna Raeanne Byer, of Madison Heights and formerly of Hazel Park, passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 53. Donna was born to her parents, Russell and Sharon Lamberger, on August 4, 1970, in Detroit, Michigan.
Donna grew up in Hazel Park, graduating from Hazel Park High School in 1988. She married the love of her life, Robert Byer, on August 26, 2017, in Madison Heights.
Donna loved her family, including her step-children, and many grandchildren. She also loved her "fur-baby" dog, Faith. Donna enjoyed traveling across the country, and always had fun gambling at the casino.
Donna leaves behind many to mourn her loss, including her husband, Robert Ray Byer; her siblings, David (Mary) Lamberger, Russhele (Jack) Dohnal, Russell III (Tammy) Lamberger; her sisters-in-law, Christle (Christopher) Sheats, Cheryl (Chris) Orvis, Carol Dean, and Julie Dunn; her step-mom, Valera Lamberger; her mother-in-law, Janet (Richard) Anderson; her ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and her step-sons, Robert and Russell Byer.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Russell Amandis Lamberger Jr., and Sharon Mary Lamberger (nee Robbins); and her daughters, Angel Southwick and Amanda Ekins.
Memorial visitation for Donna will be held on Wednesday, August 16th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Gramer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., Clawson. A memorial service will be held on the same day starting at 7:00 PM, also at the funeral home.
