Donna June Charley, 83, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025. She was born on April 30, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Van and June (McClelland) Alexander.
Known affectionately as "Dinny" in her younger years, Donna was a proud graduate of Manual High School, Class of 1959. She dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home for her family.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Donna cherished her quiet time with God and lived her life with kindness and grace. She found joy in square dancing, decorating, and dining out-Gray Brothers Cafeteria being one of her favorite spots. Christmas was her favorite holiday, a time she treasured for its celebration of faith, family, and togetherness. She also had a special love for children and delighted in their laughter and energy.
Donna always took pride in her appearance, and getting her hair done was something she truly enjoyed. It was a small but meaningful part of her life that brought her joy and confidence.
Donna is survived by her sons, Tom Charley and Greg (Kathy) Charley; her grandson, Christopher Charley; and her siblings, David Alexander and Joyce Disborough. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Christopher Scott Charley, and three siblings, Jim, Sue, and Dick.
