Our beloved wife, mother and grandma was called home by God, on April 29, 2024, after suffering a prolonged illness. Survived by her loving husband Gerald who dedicated his life to caring for her, and their children Michael (Amyjane) Genier and Karen (Jim) Rappleye, her grandchildren Sophia, Joseph and Lucia Genier, Sarah (Meghan) Rappleye and Daniel Rappleye, her sister Pattie (Bill) Hargather and sisters-in-law Suzy (Bill) Scott and Dianne Booth as well as many nieces and nephews.

Donna was born and lived in Rochester her whole life. She graduated from Jefferson High School with her Cosmetology training and worked as a hairdresser for many years.
Donna and Gerald's home was always open to family and friends. She loved to cook, bringing her love and joy to the world. They enjoyed travel around the United States and Canada, especially to their cottage in the Thousand Islands, they made several winter trips to Florida and a momentous cross-country trip. Donna's creative side was evident in her love of crocheting, sewing, and painting.
