Phillip L. Genier
Rochester: Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Pre-deceased by his wife, Blythe Bromley-Genier; brother Hon. Joseph T. Genier; son Tom Wallace. He is survived by his daughter, Beth McGrath; daughter-in-law, Elisa Wallace; grandchildren, Ryan and Luke McGrath, Blythe and Jesse Wallace; brother, Jack Genier; nieces, Nicole (Mike Criscuolo) Genier and Jayne Genier, nephews, John (Eldy Dale) Genier, Joseph (Karen Gorodetzky) Genier and Phillip (Marisa) Genier, numerous cousins.
Phillip was a graduate of Aquinas Institute where he played Football. He joined the US Army and served 18months in Korea. Phillip the joined the Irondequoit Police Dept and served honorably for 23 years. In retirement, Phillip remained active in the security business.
His family will receive friends Thursday, January 9, 4-6pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Friday, January 10, 10:00 am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for his Memorial Mass. Interment private Coye Cemetery.
