Donna Lee Knick, 76, of Cresaptown, MD passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025.
Born on September 2, 1949, she was preceded in death by her parents Elbert and Margaret Knick.
Donna graduated from Allegany High School and went on to Allegany Community College to earn a degree in Chemistry. She was very active at her church and taught Sunday school for many years. She had many hobbies including painting, ceramics, decorating her home and spending time with friends.
She was a woman of great faith, kindness and humor; a devoted spouse, married for 25 years to John Burkett; as well as a devoted dog mom to pup, Molly.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leo Savilisky; niece, Linda Lawing; brother-in-law, Jim Bohn; and nephew, Carl Bohn.
She is survived by her husband John; daughter, Ashley; and son, Rowan; sister-in-law, Marilyn Savilisky; sister, JoAnn (Dee) Bohn and daughter, Laura Ziemba, and her husband, John, and sons, Sam and Nick; niece, Barbara Birkholz and husband Dave; nephew, David Savilisky and wife, Michelle, and sons, Zack and Tony; niece, Sue Alkire and husband, Joe, and kids, Brooke and Danial; along with many other great nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
