CANFIELD - Donna Jean Koonse (Seidner), of Canfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House following a brief illness. Her family is deeply
saddened and shocked by her sudden passing.
Born on September 22, 1945, in New Springfield, Ohio, Donna was the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn Seidner. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is remembered by many for her kindness, strength, and generous
heart.
A 1963 graduate of Springfield Local High School, Donna retired from J.C. Penney after many dedicated years of service. She found great joy in cooking and baking, and especially cherished every moment spent with her beloved granddaughter, Sophia. Her
unwavering devotion to her family and those she loved left a lasting legacy of love, resilience, and warmth.
Donna is survived by her husband, John S. Koonse; her daughter, Diana Isaacs; her son, Scott Koonse (Tricia Hartley) of Pennsylvania; her cherished granddaughter, Sophia Isaacs; and her sisters, Coral Musguire and Charlotte Jackson. She is also survived by
many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Evelyn Seidner, and her sister, Shirley Bokanovich.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to Hospice of the Valley Hospice House.
Donna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
