Donna was born on July 1946 in El Dorado, KS, daughter of the late Orville and Mary D. (Hedrick) Hudson. At a young age, she was adopted by Lynn Roulston, and he and Mary raised Donna. Growing up in Wichita, Donna graduated from Wichita High School with the class of 1964. In 1969, in New Kirk, OK, Donna married the love of her life and soulmate, Mike McJimsey. They were blessed with over fifty-six years together before his passing on February 18, 2025. They enjoyed going out and dancing, gambling and their favorite song was "He Stopped Loving Her Today".
Donna is survived by her son, Derek McJimsey and wife Debra; her daughter, Carrie Jabben and husband Steve; and two bonus daughters, Michelle Hartman and husband Bruce and Wendi Salyer and husband Dave; one brother, David Roulston and wife Loetta; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Donna was preceded by her parents, Orville Hudson, Lynn Roulston and Mary Etter; her husband, Mike McJimsey; and one brother, Jack Clifford Roulston.
Donna's wishes were to be cremated. No formal services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett, MO.
