Donna was born on July 24, 1946 to Edward and Dorothy (Baily) Schultz in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
She graduated from Parker High school in 1964 and earned her Bachelor degree in mathematics from South Dakota State in 1968. She earned her Masters from the University of Oklahoma in 1969. After earning her Masters degree she began teaching mathematics at Dubuque Senior High School. Donna also earned a degree in computer science from Clarke College. She retired in 2001 after 31 years of teaching math and computer science.
She was united in marriage to Larry Miller on August 12, 1974.
Donna loved reading. In her free time, Donna enjoyed her book clubs and was an avid genealogy researcher.
She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Parker, South Dakota.
Donna is survived by her husband, Larry; sister, Carol McLaughlin; and nephew, Michael McLaughlin.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to thank Hawkeye Care Center and Hospice of Dubuque for making Donna's last days as comfortable as possible.
The Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with arrangements.
