Donna Jean Rupinski, 50, of Floresville, Texas, was born on July 25, 1973, and was welcomed into the Kingdom of our Lord on Monday, January 8, 2024. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and remarkable achievements. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to her family and passions.
Donna's academic prowess was evident as she graduated Cum Laude with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Her intellectual curiosity led her to a fulfilling career as a research biologist at UT Health Science Center. Donna's contributions to the field were marked by excellence, and her impact was remembered by colleagues and peers.
Outside the laboratory, Donna was a woman of many talents and passions. Her love for baking and artistry flourished, leading her to start her own business, "The Cake and Cookie Connection." Additionally, she pursued her creative side through another entrepreneurial venture, crafting holiday and decorative wreaths.
Donna's sense of humor was a constant source of joy for those around her. She had a unique ability to bring smiles to the faces of family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and warmth.
Above all, Donna cherished her role as a wife and mother. She found true love with her husband, Melvin Rupinski III. Despite facing heartache with the loss of their daughter, Melanie Jean, Donna and Mel continued their journey together, blessed with the joy of raising their handsome twin boys, Riley and Ryan.
Donna is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley DeGlopper; daughter, Melanie Jean Rupinski; sister, Cindy McClain; cousin, Glenn "Bo-Bo" Alexander; and uncle, Samuel Bowling.

Mrs Rupinski was such a warm light. I taught her sons and each time I spoke with her, the genuine love and caring soul she was came through very brightly. She cared so much for her children, it always makes me smile knowing how dearly they were loved. When we last spoke, her concern was solely for her boys and their continued happiness. She was selfless. I miss you, Mrs Rupinski, and the genuine joy you shared with others. Go rest, and know your children will feel your loving influence every day. Sending prayers for peace and comfort to her children, husband, and all the other lives she touched.
