Donna Shuler Sims, age 63, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Phoebe Putney in Albany, GA.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sims was born in Holly Hill, SC, on September 9, 1960, to Frank and Emily Weeks Shuler. She was a homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts (wreath making and gift baskets). Mrs. Sims would participate in craft festivals, selling her creations, as well as costume jewelry. Working in her yards was a favorite pastime as well.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Eugene Sims of Donalsonville, GA; her father, Frank Shuler of Camden, SC; her children, Brandon Weatherford and wife Laura of Utahville, SC and Danielle Shuler of North Carolina; and her siblings, Kevin Shuler of Florida, Frank “Carrott” Shuler of South Carolina and Dianne Coker of South Carolina. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Joslynn Bagley, Jensen Bagley, and Aleah Sims.
Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her mother, Emily Weeks Shuler and one daughter, Chrystal Weeks.
