Donna D. Smail, age 61, of Millersburg, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Pomerene Hospital in hospice care surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4th at Welty Cemetery, Brewster, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Faith Bible Church, Millersburg, Ohio with Pastor Mike Stinson officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Faith Bible Church or to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare.

Donna was born November 19, 1963 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the daughter of Nelson D. and Ida J. (Chupp) Yoder. On July 10, 2023 she married Paul E. Smail and he survives.
Donna was a 1982 graduate of Fairless High School and had various employment over the years. She was a member of Faith Bible Church. Donna enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved her grandchildren and was known as Grandma Cookie Lady.
Surviving in addition to her husband Paul are three children: Jessica (Michael) Jones of Apple Creek, Lyndsey (Mickey) Stout of Wooster, and Logan Stout of Wooster; three stepchildren: Beth (Nate) Lengacher of Millersburg, Brittany Smail of Orrville, and Bryan Smail of Wooster; five grandchildren: Darrin, Alexis, Rowdy, Rayna, and Anna; eight step grandchildren; six siblings: Sharon (David) Yoder, Brenda Carrick, Diane Miller, Cindy (Bob) Warther, Connie (Tod) Rex, and Randy (Ann) Yoder; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cousin and sister at heart, Karen Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
