Dora Browning

Yatesville, GA – Dora Jane (Powers) Browning, 60, passed away peacefully at Pine Point Hospice on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Dora was born on February 4, 1963, in Warner Robins, GA to the late Ray Powers, Sr. and Dora (Griffin) Arthur. She owned and operated many rental properties for Waterside Campers for many years. She loved her business and all the hard work she put towards it. In her spare time, Dora enjoyed going camping, floating down the river, and going caving. Dora was a very helpful woman who loved nothing more than her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and her many friends. She was a wonderful woman, sister, mother, wife, and an excellent example of hard work and dedication. Her memories will linger on in the hearts and souls of the ones she loved.
In addition to her father, Dora was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Foster Powers, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband: Mark Browning; children: Carl Craw (Linda), Rachel Hobby (Jessie), Kathryn Crawford, Randi Dumas, Taylor Browning, and Brett Browning; grandchildren: Natalie, Tanner, Marley, Kayleigh, Gage, Eli, Hayden, and Avalyn; sisters: Amy Powers and Betty Jean Johnson; nephews: Jonathon, Brandon, and Deon; brothers: Richard Powers, Jason Powers, and Matthew Powers; and her precious dog, Sugar.
