Doris Lee (Boling) Cilles, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 29th, 1928, in South Bend, Indiana, to Emmett and Minnie Lee (Corley) Boling. Doris graduated from Frederick Fraze High School in Cloverport, KY, and worked for many years as a secretary, but her greatest joys in life were her granddaughter; her two dogs, Abby and Lucy; and her parakeet, Baby. She is survived by her daughter, Robbie Lee Knight; her son, Bill Allen; her granddaughter, Katie Knight; and her daughter-in-law, Christina Allen. Most of all, she will be remembered for her sense of humor, her strong determination, and her independence, which she never lost throughout her battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed.
