Doris Fuller Obituary
Doris was born September 28, 1943 in Cleveland, Georgia, the daughter of the late Marvin Andrew Thurmond and the late Lorene Elliott Thurmond. She was a homemaker all her life. Doris enjoyed listening to Gospel singing. Doris treasured the times she was able to spend with her grandchildren. She was Baptist by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ethelene Nalley, Phillip Thurmond, Marian Thurmond and grandson, Josh Dempsey.
Doris is survived by her children, Dare' Fuller Pace and Jeff Jackson of Rockmart, Bengie Fuller of Villa Rica, Temolin Dempsey of Temple, siblings, Loretta Thurmond Warlick of Mesa, AZ, Vernell Thurmond Beddow of Plano, TX, grandchildren, Krista Adams, Cortney Pace, Austin Pace, Katie Pace, Robin Dempsey, Joseph and Geneva Gaskin Bovona, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with the Robin Dempsy, Austin Pace, Joseph Bovona, Brody Dempsy and Jaydon Adams serving as pallbearers.
