Doris Kendall

Doris Kendall, age 70 years old, of North Port, Florida, passed away on Thursday, February 26,2026. Born on August 14,1955 in Jork, Germany. She was known for her strength, her intelligence and her heart. She worked hard all her life, whether at her job or at home, and she faced every challenge with determination and a great head on her shoulders. She loved being outdoors-whether it would be going on boat rides, spending time at the landing or simply sitting by the canal in the fresh air and sunshine. She loved to host and cook, filling her home with the smell of good food and conversation with the people she loved. Though she was small in stature, she was mighty in spirit. She laughed easily and often, with a sense of humor that could light up a room. Family and friends came to her for advice because she was honest and sharp witted. She listened without judgment and spoke with clarity and love. She is survived by her farther, Rudi Czeremin; her husband, William Kendall; her daughter, Kimberly Roy; her son-in-law, Daniel Roy; her grandchildren, Kaylie Dean and Cordeelia Defriece; her siblings, Inger Hirschlein, Renate Beaudoin, Bernie Czeremin and Michael Czeremin; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Johanna Czeremin. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5th, 1:00-3:00pm, at Farley Funeral Home in North Port,Florida. Family and friends are invited to gather to share memories, stories, and laughter in her honor.
