Doris Rose Schwark, age 83 of Waupun, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Prairie Ridge in Beaver Dam, on what would have been her wedding anniversary of 68 year.
Doris was born on October 21, 1941, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Wolff) Marschie. She was united in marriage to Wayne Schwark on July 12, 1958, in Green Lake, WI. Together, they built a loving home where she took pride in caring for her family. Doris was a cherished member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waupun. She had a unique way of making every family member and friend feel special, always sending out cards for birthdays and Christmas without fail. Her thoughtfulness and care were evident through the many ways she connected with loved ones. Doris had a passion for crafts. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and quilting, creating beautiful pieces that showcased her talent and creativity. In the kitchen, she took delight in baking, canning and cooking, filling her home with warmth and wonderful aromas. As we remember Doris, we keep in our hearts the joyful memories and the love she so generously shared with everyone around her.
Doris is survived by her six children, Robert (Jeanette) Schwark of Adams, Barbara Schwark of Waupun, Roger (Cheryl) Schwark of Friesland, Reuben Schwark of Ripon, Beverly Schwark of Waupun and Becky (Barry) Hoewisch of New London; 16 grandchildren, Kayla (Jeremi) Haack, Marissa (Dave Kletti) Waschow, Tasha Winzenried, Austin (Rachel Feltes) Emery, Courtney Schwark, Paige Schwark, Wendy Baker, April (Cody) Doucette, Ben (Dorothy) Schwark, Brandon (Lauren) Stebbins, Allison (Kyle) Lefel, Abbigail (Brandon Easterly) Schwark, Cody Schwark, Nicole (Paul) Ziegler, Bryan and Brady Hoewisch; 11 great grandchildren, Natalie, Owen, Connor, Brody, Emily, Ryan, Noah, Teagan, Nora, Lydia and Maverick; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne in 2020, daughter-in-law, Rhonda Schwark in 2022; three brothers, Marvin (Bonnie) Marschie, Glenn (Annette) Marschie and Kenneth Marschie; sister, Marion (Leo) Jaremba.
Visitation for Doris will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 113 County Park Road, Waupun.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at church with Pastor Dennis Meier officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery.
