Doris Hartenstein Sekinger

Doris H. Sekinger, 93, born in New Orleans, La on October 17, 1931 to the late Regina and Louis Hartenstein was called home by our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. She will be reunited and spend eternity with her late husband of 41 years, Henry A. Sekinger Jr., and their daughter Heidi S. Fletcher. Our beautiful mother leaves behind 3 sons: Steven M. Sekinger (Beth), Erik M. Sekinger (Melissa), Kris S. Sekinger (Jolie) and 1 daughter Sonia S. Henriques (Kevin Touchet fianc) and son-in-law Gary Fletcher also survived by 13 grandchildren Scott, Ryan, Jack, Victoria, Bradley, Lauren, Brandon, Cameron, Joel, Vivian, Claire, Lila and Jon Christopher and 7 great-grandchildren Alli, Mia, Avery, Harper, Hayes, Bennett and Ellery. Our little firecracker will forever be in our hearts. We would like to thank the ladies at Beau Maison: Maryuri, Gabby, Marie, Regina, Jessica, Edith, Gwen and the entire staff for taking such wonderful and loving care of our mother also Koryn and Valerie at Care Associates Hospice. Family and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Service on Monday, May 12, 2025 for 11:00 am at Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4900 Airline Dr. Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin for 9:00 am. Interment to follow. Online condolences may be offered at www.gardenofmemoriesmetairie.com.
