Doris Jean "Doje" Sherman lived a very full life (7/3/1927 - 3/15/2022). She was beloved by her late husband Ralph Sherman and by her surviving family, children Mark Sherman (Kazuko), Nancy Stillman (James), Lori Sherman Coppa (Gregory); her grandchildren Yotaro Sherman (Sonica), Alex Sherman (Roxy), Rebecca Stillman, Ariana Stillman (Radek), Natalie Coppa, Aaron Coppa; her great grandchildren Mieko and Nikhil Sherman; step-grandchildren Amy Snyder (Jud), Kim Stillman and step-great-grandchildren Mari, Jack, Haley, Mia, and Joshua; her sister Lenore Prelutsky, sister-in law Ruth Solomkin and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Doje was born in St. Louis and moved to Milwaukee with Ralph in 1958 where they raised their children and made their home. May her memory be a blessing.
Funeral services 1 PM Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Congregation Sinai, 8223 N. Port Washington Rd., Fox Point. Interment at Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milwaukee. Memorials to Chai Point or Jewish Family Services. Masks are required for anyone attending services.

Doje was so calm and loving. She and Ralph opened their home to for slumber parties when we were youngsters. It was a gift being apart of their lives. My thoughts are with the family.

Doje was such an important part of our lives. We have many fond memories of wonderful gatherings at the house on Wildwood. There are few people in this world who are as generous, kind and solid as she was to our family. Our deepest sympathies.
