Doris (Moore) Taylor 89 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away December 12, 2025. Doris was born December 4,1936 to Charles W. Moore & Lissie (Copas) Moore in Moss, TN.
She Married the love of her life, Charles Tilford Taylor on March 27, 1959, in Greenwood, IN. and together they raised four daughters, Joann Taylor Pluckebaum, Teresa Taylor Ford, Laverne Taylor Dugan and Denise Taylor Rominger. After nearly 62 years of marriage, he preceded her in death December 15, 2020. She is, undoubtedly, very happy to be reunited with him and the many other loved ones that have preceded her to Heaven including her daughter Teresa Taylor Ford, sisters Opal Henson, Mable Whittemore and Virginia Ruth Moore, brothers Otis Moore and Charles "Junior" Moore and many much-loved nieces and nephews.
Doris was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood, IN for most of her life. She and her husband Tilford were a fixture in the church and touched the lives of many people through their work with the church.
She is survived by her daughters, Joann Pluckebaum (David), Laverne Dugan (Jim), and Denise Rominger (Matt), and ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, brother Clyde "Pee-Wee" Moore and her twin brother Don Moore.
Funeral Service will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 23rd at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel 481 W. Main St. with visitation from 12:00pm to service time. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.
