On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, Doris Herrin Williams, age 83 of Pearl River, La., passed on peacefully to be with our Lord. She was a wonderful woman to be around and loved spending as much time as she could with her family.

Mrs. Doris leaves to cherish her memory her 2 children, Gail (Timmy) and Linda (Louis), 2 brothers, Ed (Polly) and Glen (Cathy), 8 precious grandchildren; Cindy (Ben), Crystal (Thomas), Kimberly (Jason), Kenneth, Christine (Jose), Devon "Boo Boo", Allen (Ethel), and Joseph, 18 great-grandchildren; Jenna, Emersen, Graham, Joseph, Caden, Gracie, Adalynn, Kenneth Jr., Layal Isabella, Evangeline, Amaya, Lorena, Sophia, Myla, Malia, Allen Jr., and Emily, and her great great-grandson Grayson. She is now walking the streets of gold with her husband, Joseph E. Williams, her parents, Mack and Ruth Herrin, 3 children, Luther "Bubba" Williams, Penny Sue Williams and Debra Williams, 2 brothers, Elwood Herrin and Charles, and a half-brother, Norman Evans. Her legacy will live on through all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the chapel of D.T. Williams Funeral Home, 67525 Hwy. 41, Pearl River, La, with visitation on Saturday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Interment to follow at Turtleskin Cemetery, Picayune, Ms.

Bro. Brad Heffner to be officiating.
